# Accessibility

Accessibility statement for this website.

## Scope

This statement applies to the cuisine.digital website of digital cuisine GmbH & Co. KG. It provides information for businesses. We voluntarily follow the requirements of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz) and the European standard EN 301 549. Our implementation is guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA.

## Compliance status

This website largely complies with the requirements of WCAG 2.2 at level AA. We are aware of the limitations listed below and are working on them.

We implement accessibility in the code, rather than through an added overlay widget: landmarks and a clear heading structure, sufficient contrast, full keyboard operability with visible focus, forms with labels and understandable error messages, text alternatives for images, zoom up to 200 per cent without loss of content or functionality, and motion that follows the system setting for reduced motion.

## Known limitations

The animation in the header area of the home page follows the system setting for reduced motion, but does not yet have its own pause button. We are adding one.

The certificates on the Certifications page are provided as PDFs by the issuing assessment bodies and are not always prepared in an accessible format. The essential information on scope and validity is available as text on the page.

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot checks. Its presentation is controlled by the provider. If you cannot use the check, you can always contact us by email or telephone.

Linked external services, such as our application portal, are outside this website and this statement.

## Testing procedures

We test the website automatically and manually. Before each release, a sample covering all page types undergoes an automated test with Lighthouse (axe-core), which requires a full accessibility score; every night, we test all published pages this way. In addition, we manually test keyboard operation, focus management, screen reader output, zoom and reduced motion. An external assessment using the WCAG-EM methodology is still pending.

This statement was created on 12 September 2026. We review it when the website changes significantly.

## Feedback and contact

If you have noticed barriers or need content in another format, please write to us or call. We will get back to you and resolve reported barriers.
