The application determines the requirements
We assess runtime, data storage, networking and authentication together. From this, we determine how the application will be deployed in your STACKIT environment and connected to existing systems.
Migration to the STACKIT Cloud
The move starts with an inventory: applications, data, interfaces and the requirements your operations currently meet. This forms the basis for a target architecture with the appropriate STACKIT services, from managed Kubernetes clusters and object storage to databases.
Migration takes place in stages, with a test environment, a rollback path and fixed acceptance criteria for each application. It ends with a documented handover that enables your team to continue without us.
Governance and operations
Projects and permissions, network boundaries, monitoring, backups and cost control are agreed with your IT team before the first application moves. We define which tasks your team takes on and which services we remain responsible for during operations.
This is based on the processes of our ISO/IEC 27001-certified management system: changes are traceable, access is controlled and incidents follow a defined path.
Sovereignty as an architectural decision
STACKIT is the Schwarz Group's cloud. Data is stored exclusively in European data centres. For many companies, this is the reason to run critical systems there.
For us, sovereignty does not mean rejecting providers, but shaping dependencies deliberately: infrastructure as code, open formats and a documented way back. For those running AI applications with sensitive data, STACKIT offers an environment that fits sound AI governance.
